"One man said "community is forever." We believe that. Much of what we do and experience here on earth will pass away, will fade away, but community, it will last forever.

Koinonia (greek for fellowship or community) is a foretaste of the community we'll experience in heaven, which will be eternal. Eternity, for the Christian, is a community of the shared life in perfect unity forever and ever. Until then we work toward that ideal with the same people with whom we'll spend eternity.

The kingdom of God is not just a place we will get to visit as some future reward. It is a present community of people who are o a journey to heaven, people carrying on Christ's work in the world. We are the people of God, and we are on a journey together.
